Will the lessons only be in Japanese?
The tutor is a native Japanese speaker, but lessons may be in English only, Japanese only, or both, all depending on the learner's level.
How long does it take to study Japanese before I can speak it?
There is no set time frame, as it varies from person to person. You will probably be able to understand simple Japanese sentence structures within a few months.
Do I need to buy Japanese textbooks?
No, you don't need to. I will provide the materials.
Can I take lessons online?
Yes, you can take lessons online even if you live outside London or overseas.
How often should I take lessons?
Most learners take lessons once a week, with some taking lessons twice a week or more before exams.
Can I prepare for the Japanese language exam?

I'm planning to travel to Japan. Should I learn a little bit of Japanese before I go?
Yes, I would recommend learning at least a little bit of Japanese before traveling to Japan, as many Japanese people don't speak English.

Yes, you can. To learn the language, it is helpful to know the cultural background and history of Japan in order to gain a deeper understanding.
